Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is your placement guarantee policy?
A: Our replacement guarantee ranges between 3- 6 months and lengthens dependent on the position. We follow up on successful placements with both candidate and client at the 1-month, 3-month and 6-month points to ensure both sides are happy. This is supported by a formal one on one evaluation with the candidate/contractor and the client. A detailed report documenting the candidates 3 month feedback and review is discussed with the client ensuring that at the ‘settling” in period things is running well for parties.
Q: What is the role of the client?
A: Communicate, communicate, and communicate! When we spend adequate time together in the commencement of the assignment understanding your company and the detail of the position we can better meet your needs and save you time refining the search and interviewing later on.
Feedback, feedback, feedback! If you reject candidate’s lets us know why, so that we can build our understanding of your requirements and improve on search for the perfect candidates next time.
Urgency, Urgency, Urgency! Move quickly or keep us informed. In the current market good candidates are hard to find and are surrounded with other opportunities. If the selection process is not seen to be progressing the candidate will lose interest and confidence and you will lose them to another employer.
Q: Will you headhunt amongst our staff?
A: No, we also can’t let you know if any of your staff apply to our advertisement. BUT we do recommend to the applicant that you are our client and they can decide whether they wish to continue and encourage the, to approach their direct manager to try and sort out their issues.
Q: What is the difference between paying a retained and contingent invoicing?
A: If we are retained, as the client, you pay an upfront 30% of the estimated recruitment fee to engage our service. An additional 30% is invoiced when candidates are short-listing and then the final fee balance is invoiced upon successful completion of the recruitment phase. If our engagement is contingent then as the client you only pay upon successful placement of a candidate.
Q: What methods of assessment do you employ?
A: Our consultants practice behavioural interview techniques, which we believe provide the best results. If requested we can offer psychometric testing, skills testing and assistance setting up and preparing for panel interviews.
Q: Using multiple agencies
A: We don’t demand exclusivity; however, commitment from our clients can make a world of difference. We need to know you have the time to spend communicating with us and that you have a level of commitment to the overall process. If you are going through many agencies you can easily lose focus and affect the quality of the selection process with all parties.
